Journal of the Department of Agriculture, Western Australia, Series 4

Issue cover

Cover: The Murchison River between Ajana and its estuary flows to a long horseshoe shape gorge which varies in depth from 100 to 250 feet. Although lying close to the road to the Murchison estuary this geoge is but rareky seen by the tourists becuase of the intervening country and absence of tracks. It could form a distinctive tourist attraction to its already popular area. Photograph by C.A Gardner.
