Abstract

THE hormone-like herbicides are playing such an important part in the control of weeds in cereal crops, that there is a tendency to accept them as being completely selective with a capacity to remove the weeds without any risk to the crop.

This is particularly the case when dealing with wild radish and wild turnip which are among the more susceptible weeds and require relatively small doses.
