Titles in the fisheries research contract report (ISSN: 1446-5868) series contain technical and scientific information that requires dissemination to meet the requirements of contracts entered into by, or undertaken on behalf of, the Department of Fisheries (Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development), Western Australia. These contract reports are not a formal refereed scientific publication and the Department will often publish sections of these reports in scientific journals, however, each report is reviewed internally for quality control purposes.
