Abstract
A scientific workshop was held on 25th – 29th September 2017 to review available data for Australian herring (Arripis georgianus) and determine current stock status using the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s (DPIRD) Risk-based Weight of Evidence Approach (Appendix 1). Recommendations for future monitoring and assessments required to reduce uncertainties and establish sustainable catch levels were also made.
