Abstract
Many tractor batteries are inadequately maintained in service, and even when the effect of misuse or unsatisfactory operation are obvious, little if any, corrective action is taken. Failure to maintain the electrolyte levels, overcharging are all factors which are consistently overlooked by tractor owners and those responsible for battery maintenance.
