Cover: The delicately- textured blue flowers of the Leschenaultia are a feature of springtime in Western Australia. The plant grows profusely in the Darling Ranges, but is probably seen at its best in the loamy soils east of Northam. It is named in honour of the botanist Leschenault de la Tour, who accompanies Captain Nicholas Baudin on his voyage to Australia in 1802."
