Abstract
Steel and concrete are two of the most widely-used materials in the world today Y but although most laymen know that the steel technologist uses various additives to give him steels that are especially suited for certain tasks, it is not generally realised that there are a number of preparations which, added to concrete, make it especially suitable for use under certain conditions.
