Abstract

THE flood gum, sometimes known locally as the blue-gum, is one of our most attractive eucalyptus species

It grows mainly in low-lying or flooded areas and lines the banks of our South-West rivers and streams.

Over a period of years however, this beautiful tree has declined alarmingly in many districts and landholders from the Avon Valley to the Blackwood have expressed their concern.
