Abstract
This report reviews asparagus production in Australia and the import and export markets. It also examines the potential of the winter market for asparagus in Australia, which has remained under supplied. Well managed winter asparagus will rank among the most profitable crops. This report also provides an introduction to the practical aspects of asparagus production in the tropics.
